The lockdown, she is a comin'!

I saw in the news section that they're finally going to add some search features to LJ. In general, my reaction is "about bloody time!" since it's been really annoying to have to rummage endlessly looking for my old post about whatever-it-was. All I wanted was "search inside my journal". Ideally, there'd also be "search inside journal X at my ( Read more... )

Dude. My lack of account isn't because of lostness. I can read a map and everything.

Re: "search spiders get lost" -- how does that explain Altavista and Google finding random entries of yours? Altavista even found a locked post.

Oh, and here I am again bringing up the time where that one site snagged a post where you talk about my doctor's appointment.

Clarification: I don't just mean the search engines found posts because someone had referenced them. Can't help other people linking to your open stuff.

I'm talking about a plain simple straight shot down into this here journal thingy, with no hint of anyone else even noticing the post.

Fucking spiders, man.

I know you know how to create an account. I was thinking more of T or LZ who don't spend much time visiting LiveJournal.

I do occasionally post things, thank you very much. I was going to share my humorous story about a hearing impaired panther, but I am not in a raconteusing sort of mood anymore.

I think he's using the local vocabulary. LJ says you've never made an entry in your own journal.

Around here, "to post" and "to comment" mean different things. "To post a comment" is equivalent to the latter.

I have no panther stories and you won't share. Meanie.

I'll just take it out on Squidminion.

Yeah, what she said.

And thanks ever so much for getting me mauled by M_'s panther withdrawal.
