This is incredible. Detailed and hot and rather sweet. Though, being forty m'self (or nearly so) I can't see them as old. Well seasoned and mature, skilled and sexy - not old. I can see why they feel that way, though. Hitting forty or forty one can be a bit traumatic for some men.

That speech of Ron's seems, to me, to be the way wizards would think about aging. More elastic, if you will. Muggleborn and muggle raised would think differently, so Ron has to teach Harry. *g*
