people aren't really putting that much stock in this date, are they? Frankly, i think it's funny but further than that... it's just kind of stupid... i wonder if they had the same kind of uproars in 1906, or even further back. I didn't even think people paid that much attention to things... i wonder if the christian fundies are quaking in their boots today? ;)

i for one, welcome the apocolypse ;)

Americans are really into literal interpretation of thier bible without thinking things through. There are people who had their pregnancies induced so they wouldn't give birth to "the antichrist" today. I wish I was joking, say it on the news last night.
I wonder how bad they freaked out in the year 666 AD.

I bet they'd skip every year with a 13 in it too. We should burn them all as witches since they HAVE THE POWER TO SKIP YEARS!
