"Hey, I bet you thought that was the subject over there. WHOOPS DENIED! Okay, new subject, sticking to this subject, this subject, this subjNEW SUBJECT! I'm wearing clothes. (Or not.) SCARY FACE"
N-nnnoooo! I DO NOT LIKE FUDGE MARBLE ICE CREAM ANYMORE. I think. It's been awhile since I've eaten it. And I know how to spell words and capitalize February now! I AM SHOCKINGLY DIFFERENT FROM MYSELF 8-YEAR-OLD SELF.
I think my favorite part was when I decided to go ride my 10-speed bike. "I want to ride my 10-speed now. I will. So look out!" It just makes me picture a young Seifer learning to ride a bike for the first time, trying to run everyone over while laughing maniacally.
I can't believe that I forgot to tell you todays St. Patrick's day! At school we did not have a party! I can't believe that! Not a party on St. Patrick's day?!! It's hard to belive. My grandma is gone. She went to California! A big earthquake hit there. The olympics have stopped. We taped it though! Now we can watch it over & over again. We are going to pick up grandma on Friday. That's tomorrow! I will be happy to see her. She has been gone a long time! She has been gone three weeks!
I love the way the topics jump here. St. Patrick's day, no party, grandma gone, earthquake, Olympics, back to grandma. I also love hoe the no party thing totally got more emphasis than Grandma's journey to earthquake country.
A WONDERFUL, TERRIFYING THING. Perhaps it should be used as some sort of secret weapon, held in the hands of a terrorist gorilla... WAIT A SECOND.
I'm a little bit embarrassed by how... weirdly old some of my phrasings sound. In one of my entries, I actually said, "Oh my!" PLEASE STOP BEING 80 INSTEAD OF 8, YOUNG SELF.
Well, I guess parties were a Big Deal back in the day. Whereas grandma was just, you know, grandma.
And now I'm trying to picture what the diaries of a tiny!Mil would look like. The entries would probably end mid-sentence, as he got distracted and wandered off to eat something or bite someone.
