Yesterday I made Mother's Day cards for my mom and grandma while thebaconfat played Silent Hill 2.

I feel like there could be some kind of correlation here that would result in absolutely terrifying Mother's Day cards.

Honestly, I was a little disappointed at how un-terrifying they turned out. I mean, the lily should have probably turned into some blood-dripping, fanged vagina or something, but alas. It was just a slightly lopsided lily made out of paper.

I was really impressed with how quickly I boiled potatoes and peas for my lunch today until i found the crunchy, uncooked bits.

Thank god I am the only one who ever eats what I cook.

Also, I must recommend the smitten kitchen blog, the 101 cookbooks blog and the sprinkle bakes blog.

Visually if nothing else. Lovely lovely pictures.

XD XD XD

The best story I've heard all day.

And ugh, potatoes. And rice. Why do they continue to baffle me?

...oh my god, why did I go look at the Sprinkle Bakes blog, those look delicioussss unf. (Also, Baco found the Smitten Kitchen homemade oreos recipe awhile ago, so of course we had to try it and fdsfa. We made half of the cookies with the icing they wrote and half with a peanut butter filling. Best. decision. ever.)
