I forgot to mention before that I love so very much how this relationship is so good for Cas. Getting him out, forcing him to relinquish his precious control, brightening his world. A release in more ways than one. ;) :D This chapter was maybe my favorite. I love smut so that's saying something considering there wasn't any. I'm crying again though. My heart wins out over my hormones, so this was just perfect. God Dean...tear my fuckin' heart out, chop it into pieces, stick it in a blender, drink it down, crap it out and grind it under your boot why dontcha?! *SOBS*

Yeah, this chapter and Dean's story kind of tore me up. So so so sad. But I had to do it. ;D

And thank you for pointing out how this is really helping Cas. I really wanted to make it obvious that this isn't just about seeing Dean strip, it's not something lascivious, this really is a form of therapy and healing for him. OH BOYS. <3

"Castiel marvels at how he's now able to give up control, to step back and let someone else determine his fate." This! Yes. I am seeing parallels now! Well, maybe not parallel as it's kind of the opposite of what he did in the series, but parallel in that after meeting Dean Cas does a complete 180 on his life. Here going from the creepy recluse with control issues to someone who goes out (weekly!) to a place full of strangers for the most part and is talking to people other than family and letting Dean move things along. Whereas in the show Cas stops letting others control him and does what he wants.

(Why am I so chatty tonight? Jeez. Sorry. I'm sure you know all this since you wrote it.)

I don't know when I'll be able to look at a BK again without tearing up XD

Ha ha, yes! But it's more so of him letting himself go, not living by anyone else's rules (even his own) or sticking to predetermined fate--learning to let things happen as they may instead of being so obsessed with having every second planned out with every variable considered. ;)
