I don't read Vampire Diaries fanfiction near as much as I used too....however I still watch the comms and just about jumped out of my seat when I saw Klaus/Caroline. ung! They're so freaking steamy together! I never would have though of this pairing, but it so works!

Thank you so much for giving us a little more. I really enjoyed how you wrote Klaus and Caroline's overall hesitation and anxiety over what she was feeling. Great job hun ♥

Oh, thank you so much! I'm happy that I could inspire you to read a fic again. (And I'm all for jumping out of chairs in excitement.) :D

You know, I'd never have thought of the pairing either. But then that scene. That's all it took for me. My muses haven't left me alone since that night, lol.

Thank you so much. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. :)

So many of the fics that have sprung up since their scene have involved or ended with them being in love or having some sexy times without any explanation as to how they got there. A one shot is just not enough to get them to that happily ever after, in my opinion.

This, however, is entirely plausible and could easily be continued to get them where fandom wants them at the snap of a finger. Slow build is underrated these days!

♥ it.

I totally agree with you. You can't solve all of their problems in 3,000 words. There's to much history and bad blood between them. They need to work through their drama for this to work out.

Oh, thank you so much for that! I'm beyond happy that you think so.

Thanks again!

P.S. I all about the slow build. :D

I really enjoyed this piece :)
I think you portrayed Caroline in a way that is realistic, with all those thoughts running through her head. Klaus' characterization was spot on!

Oh, thank you so much! I'm soooo glad that you like the characterization. I try really hard to keep everything in character. :D

Thanks again!

I left this review on FF.net and I'm so glad you decided to post this story here. :)

I love this! I love that they didn't say a lot to each other but damn, that silence was deafening!

That part where Klaus was holding Caroline's hand after he placed the bracelt on her just simply broke my heart. I know that he's a killer and all that but I just wanted to give him a hug at that point. You just made me realized that yeah, he's the most powerful being out there but I doubt that he's ever even experienced a genuine gesture such as someone holding his hand. ***sniff, sniff***

Please tell me that you'd be writing more of this story... coz Caroline just needs to make him experience her kind of genuine beauty! :)

And if you could write the same story again but this time with Klaus' POV that would be awesome! :)

Awww, thank you! I saw your review and loved it. Sadly, ff.net is not very review reply friendly. Blah. But I'm happy that I get to properly thank you!

Thank you SO much. I love having characters say things without them saying anything. I think that the silence can be much louder at times. So I'm glad you liked that.

Oooh, the hand holding. I'm really happy that that moment came across. I wanted it to be big. He is a bad guy, but there's so much more to him than that, and I wanted to show that. I read an article with Joseph Morgan and he brought up Klaus' lonliness and that really struck me.

Right now, I don't have plans for a sequel. I'm not against it. I just want to see what happens on the show next. It's totally possible that whatever comes next will blow this out of the water. So... we'll see. But either way, I totally plan to write more Klaus/Caroline.

HAHA, that would be interesting, but I love not knowing his side. It makes it much more insteresting!

Thank you so much! :D

Been craving a Klaus/Caroline fic since *that* scene, like many others, so thank you for this. It was realistic and true, but adorable and romantic at the same time. All the subtle tenderness you put in there<3 Great. I look forward to more Klaroline from you!

That scene made my muses jump for joy. (Which is something they haven't done in a long while.) I'm so happy that you found it realistic and subtle and everything else. :D

Thank you so much. I hope to write more soon. :)
