Hey! Sorry i couldnt reply back when you replied to my review, i tired to formulate a good reply many times after reading yours but all i could come up with was "I understand" which did nothing to express my jumbled "but(s)!" Lol

Anyway now that i have read this, i understand everything better. I will always wonder what kurt wanted to say to puck when he went searching for him at the shop but i am glad that puck is making the effort to find himself and move into the future instead of staying stuck in the past. I feel sorry that puck wont be neighbors with meena anymore, she was awesome, but at least he has max with him <3

So excellent job and i hooe you write a short follow up :)

Vanessa

Oh, no worries! I totally understand. I'm just glad my explanation helped. Even if it left you with a bunch of "but(s)." :P

Awww, yay! That's great to hear. I know what he wanted to say, but I don't know if I should tell you, lol. I really like the opened ended-ness of this and I don't want to spoil that. :P So... No answers for you! :D (Whatch me come back and tell you later, lol.) No worries about Meena and Puck. They'll still be friends. She plans to visit him LOTS. And like you said, he still has Max. :D

Thank you so much. Not sure about a follow up. I... yeah. I have a lot of opinions on that. :P

Thank you so much!

I don't even...

I'm speechless I guess. I wasn't expecting this one to end, but when I got to the last few paragraphs, everything wrapped up nicely and hopefully, if not happily. Is it too much to ask for a sequel?

I loved the whole fic, especially the past/present structure and I loved how the past section you ended on was really the beginning. *Love*

Wow, thank you so much. I'm really glad that you liked the ending. Sequel? I don't think so. I mean, I've totally got a follow up in mind. But... I'm burnt out and I really need a break. Plus, I really do like the open ended ending. I think to follow it up and reveal what happens three years later would cheapen that a wee bit. Who knows though, lol.

Oh, thank you! I'm so happy that you liked the structure and how part of the end was really the beginning. :)

Thank you again!

I've waited until THE END to comment. I very much enjoyed how you've experimented with this fic, the whole exploration of time, of memory, reflection on choices made - the back and forth between them as teenagers and as young men.

I find this to be a great ending; we see how they began, and now, how they've paused, and it feels so very true and right that Puck goes his own way, he's become so self-aware, and has probably realised that Kurt has some growing up still to do. Because Kurt has behaved badly by Puck, Puck's had the wakeup call he needed.

Happiness isn't other people, they sure help though; happiness is being true to yourself, and being the very best you can be. Puck's realised that he needs to become truly happy - and good luck to him on his journey.

Really good job - kudos!

Oh, wow. Thank you so much! I really enjoyed/hated playing around with the time. It was a lot of fun, but it also kicked me in the butt. I made lots of notes and a fancy time line with color coded Post-It's. :P But really, not only am I glad that it worked, I'm also really glad that you liked it. It's also great to hear that you liked the way I worked with memories and choice and what not. :)

Thank you so much! I've always known how it would end. So it's amazing to hear that you enjoyed it and the way it sort of book ends itself. And I think that pause is the perfect way to describe the ending of this. But that's really what it is, just a pause. And Puck really has changed and come into himself more, so he had to leave. He just couldn't stay with Kurt right now. They're in two different places.

So very true. So very true. And Puck will find that in himself, without Kurt.

Thank you so very much. I really appreciate your kind words. :)

Aaaaand I'm crying. Of course I'm crying. That time of the month, you know, anything and everything affects me in the worst possible way.

This? This would probably have had my eyes leaking anyway. I like the end of this story, I like the open feeling it leaves. Your writing is, as always, a-ma-ziiing and I'm glad that it ended this way. I'm going to miss it (I marked Tuesdays as "Skin Deep Day!"'s in my calendar and everyone wanted to know why). All in all, superb story, executed superbly, with super superb writing. That's all I can say.

Oh noes! *hands you a tissue* LOL, yes. Unfortunatley... I do know.

Awww, thank you. Thank you so much. I'm so glad you liked the open ended-ness of this. I'm really happy about that myself. There's room for more, but it still has an ending to it. LOL, really? That's awesome! How did you explain that one? :P

Thanks again. Your kindness and support mean so much to me. *hugs*
