One Shot Fic: Auld Lang Syne

Jan 06, 2009 23:30

Title: Auld Lang Syne
Author: Squeeka Cuomo
Rating: PG
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Sookie/Eric
Notes: This is just a bit of silliness that I came up with for chasedestructo’s Eric/Sookie drabble challenge. (The prompts I chose were “resolutions” and “champagne”.) A sequel to Past and Present is on the way. You have her to blame for the delay. :P

Ever since the first book I've been an Eric/Sookie fan because of the banter/power play they had going there.

I love your Sookie voice. Drinking and flying was something she would say.

As Sam led her back into the bar, Sookie spared one last look over her shoulder. Eric was nowhere in sight, but she could feel his amusement. She finally had a New Year’s resolution. Stop allowing Eric to get away with grand exits. But even as she vowed it to herself, Sookie knew that that was just about as practical as resolving to not get beaten up.

My favorite part of the fic was tthis part. It captured part of the new E/S dynamic.. And I love the nod to book 8. :D

Oh I know! I fell in love with the pairing in book one as well. They're so dynamic.

I was really, FAR to proud of the drinking and flying line. :P I'm glad it worked out, at that you think my Sookie is believeable.

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you liked it.
