As you may have noticed, I've updated to a new layout for this journal. I was just looking for something with a little more contrast, and I chose this one since it reminded me of Oceanic Airlines. I like the new look. It reminds me of being on a beach in some tropical island. Great, now I wish I was on a tropical beach. :)

I like the new layout, it feels kind of laid back and relaxing! And I've been hearing all about this Twitter thing so I guess I'll have to check it out!

Thanks a lot, that's just what I was going for!

As far as twitter goes, I'm still feeling it out but I'm thinking it might help me channel some of my more extraneous posts away from here or X-E. So, that's probably a good thing ;D

I'm starting to feel nostalgic for my Con days. That is, the days I went to conventions, not the days I'd con people into buying phony real estate.

The only one that consistently appears in my area has been done to death by me. I do miss walking out with hundreds of dollars of free stuff though.

The side of me that has been pinching pennies for what feels like 6 months in anticipation of Comic-Con will be very happy about walking away with lots of free stuff 8D

It's just another way to blog, but it's for quick short updates you can do via text message. You text a message to twitter and poof, it pops up. You can follow other people online or have their updates sent to your phone.

I assume if you had a lot of friends that are all about the tmi and you have all their updates going to your phone it would be really annoying. For better or worse, I do not have that problem.
