god, shopping for dress clothes in general is a nightmare. :/
i wear a size 12 and i need petite length. i had a hell of a time finding anything the first time i looked! i ended up way over paying for three pairs of dress pants. i got lucky a little while ago and found some cute petite pants at kohl's for cheaper, but it's no fun finding dress clothes. if you are petite, they expect you to wear a size 2!
i don't even want to imagine how hard it would be in a different country. :/ did you have a favorite store in the states and maybe someone could buy you a bunch of pants and you could try them on? and then the ones that don't fit or whatever, you could sell? i don't know - it's just a thought.
It's not a bad idea to get something from the US but it won't make it here in time now, so maybe for the future. Actually I'll go clothes shopping when I'm back in the US at Christmas. I'm looking forward to Kohl's and Old Navy...
