Seattle, Cancer Update

Leon and I are flying to Seattle this weekend to meet up with his parents, Marty and Ellen. Ellen starts her cancer treatment on Friday, though, so we don't know if she'll be up for the drive from Montana. I suspect the trip will go according to plan, but Leon's parents are making some accomodations for us in case they don't show ( Read more... )

I really want more details on their insurance information because I want to understand how this isn't covered. It's probably as simple as that hospital not being in their HMO, but that? Sucks. I hope my insurance is never that bad. :(

They're originally from Pennsylvania but have been living in Tennessee for the past decade. Leon's dad is doing a sabbatical in Montana, since he's a CS professor.

What part of Montana are you from? They're in Missoula.

Bozeman -- not too far away. I drive through Missoula on my way home and my parents graduated from UofM. It's gorgeous...
