I have no interest in American football, but I will have to buy Touchdown Jesus: Faith and Fandom at Notre DameBased on its subject matter, I am fairly certain that my awesome nonfiction writing professor at Washington University, Scott Eden, wrote it. If it is his, I'm very happy for him. If it's not, it's no big loss. Hopefully I can find it

Unfortunately, I don't have a way to contact him. He wasn't a real professor. He was an MFA student who was teaching a class; I think all the MFAs had to teach a lower level writing course.

Hm. I remember my last semester of school here I had a class taught as such. And the prof was really really hot. Heh.

I saw him the other day by Starbucks and I actually ran away for fear of making an ass out of myself in conversation.

That sounds exactly like this situation. I could even see myself running away for the very same reason. :)

But this guy was young and cool and he would cuss in class and I thought that made him like a rock star. :P
