I went to the student health center today because:

1.) My cold of two weekends ago is still sticking around in the form of an annoying cough that erupts at the worst moments (like when the teacher calls on me), a runny nose, and a scratchy man-voice. That is, as man-voice-ish as my normally-squeaky voice can get. XD

2.) I got a bad case of hives

SCRATCHY MAN-VOICE!!!! I HAVE IT RIGHT NOW TOO!!!!! And I have the Interviews for being an RA coming up, and the last thing I need is to go into those sounding like a chain smoker! I hate the scratchy man-voice!

Dude, I know! And my voice gradually deteriorates as I go through the day. In the early morning it's bad, too, but during the day it's alright. But by evening, it's completely shot.

Except everything at Starbucks seems like it was designed for tall people. People who stack the venti cups up in towers way in the back make me cry. And I've developed curious climbing skilz to get to tricky bottles of vanilla syrup. :D

And... in the children's area of IKEA, there's this kiddie entrance off to the side of the general walkway made to look really fun for kids to go through.

The top of my head just brushes against arch of the entrance way. It's tight, but I do fit. And I can walk through without ducking. ;_;

I don't have class until 11 MW, and until 12:15 TTHF, and then I'm free after 3 on Thursdays and after 2:10 on Fridays.

Hmmmm... well, next Thursday (2/9), I have one of my English classes canceled. So we could hang out from 10:30am (which is when JPN 314 ends, I think) until your 12:15 class, ne?

Serves her right. Short chicks rule. I'm just shy of 5'4" and stand out like a maypole in my fam. When a tall person come to visit, it's an event. My auntie literally stood on a box at her wedding reception.

Without short chicks, who would climb inside airplane wings and seal them with resin so that they could be used to store jet fuel? We're not allowed to make children do that anymore, you know...

But you're right! Short chicks can fit into the smallest place - I used to fall asleep curled up on a stool. :D
