Title: Double Negative

Spoilers/Warnings: S2
Summary: Jack makes a different choice.
A/N: Written for drabblefix: this week was a double drabble (200 words) and the theme was "alternate universe." Not sure how I feel about the quality of this, but here it is...

Oh I really like this idea! I always found Jack and Sarah's relationship to be...interesting, to say the least. XD I forgot that she was about to get married when she was in the accident and met Jack.

And yay, Shannon's daddy lived!! <333 I like the dynamic between her and Jack here. ;D

Oh thank you! I am feeling super rusty right now, writing-wise, so that's very nice to hear.

LOL- interesting? It sounds like you're trying to be nice to them. XD It seemed like a kind of empty, cliched relationship to me--built on the idea of "miracles" and the "big fancy wedding," all show and no substance. But I actually think that was on purpose--the writers were actually doing pretty good work back in season one. ;)

One of the neat things that occurred to me suddenly as I envisioned this scenario was the "dancing" theme: that Sarah's being able to dance in the show meant that Shannon wouldn't get to. Now that I'm not sure was on purpose--but it would be awesome if it had been.

Oh, this is so lovely! ♥ I love the idea, and I'm always a fan of anything with Shannon and her dad. I'm inclined to forget how much I actually do like Shannon and want good things for her.

Thank you so much! I love Shannon too--she was one of the better female characters on Lost and I'm sad that we lost her so soon.

(BTW, would you like to be friends, by any chance? I feel like we keep bumping into each other and I always enjoy your fic.)
