Oh my gosh! This is so, so, SO amazing -- I love this moment and this scene between Jack and Charlotte, that she's so vulnerable and Jack's there to provide some strength (especially this line: Jack throws up his hands and moves to the back of the line to check on Charlotte, who is trailing behind now, like a planet falling slowly out of orbit) and the mention of Jack wishing he could give Charlotte the life he doesn't really think he wants. (And the Daniel and Juliet too!)

I'm so glad you posted this snippet -- I hope there's more to come from the full story! :D

Yay! I think I posted this mostly for you, b/c of your Charlotte love, so I'm thrilled that you liked it. Nighttiming is convincing me to write more, so I will definitely try to keep going with it!
