Wow: that's high praise! :) I hope I can live up to it in the end!

This is awesome -- even your shorter parts are great! ;D

I love the sort-of friendship you've built between Jack and Charlotte; their one of my favourite potential-friends pair in canon, since there seem to be so many similarities between them. And I'm so interested to find out what's happened to Juliet and Daniel! Great job, as always!

Thanks so much!

Yeah--I do see tons of similarities between these two. And I kind of like the slight antagonism that develops out of that. I can just see them kind of irritating the hell out of each other--in a friendly way--if they had to spend a lot of time together.

Unfortunately, Lost (like much of TV) never really bothered to develop very many friendships for the female characters. I'm trying to remedy that here, at least a little bit! :)

Yay! Short update is better than none at all!

He had only realized then how strangely steady Juliet had made him feel over the past few days, as if he really still was the same person through all of the flashes

Yes! Loved this. I love Juliet/Jack because she made him better. He sort of let go of all his bull---- with her because she knew it all so what kind of fake Jack façade was he going to put up?

Boo for cliffhanger though! ;) Although I'm glad you're not pulling a Darlton and are trying to make the next part happen as naturally as possible. Can't wait for it :D

Thank you, thank you! Especially for picking out that line, because I was a little unsure about it.

And I swear, I am not doing the cliffhanger thing on purpose (at least, not in this part)! I actually do have half the next scene started but I am trying to edit it so that it is more in-character and generally better-written. So basically, yeah: there will be no sudden flashbacks to Juliet's parents' divorce! ;)

I'm hoping maybe another part by the end of this week?
