cystitis et cetera

Ye gods! Why has no-one ever told/warned me about this? I'd always assumed that if/when i ever suffered this condition it would sting a bit and that would be it. Never did i imagine such a strange, uncomfortable sensation of searing heat emanating from the groin area and no, i don't mean 'heat' in a good way, lest you ask ( Read more... )

Cystitis. It's common but not very pleasant. It's all to do with the bladder, etc.

Owwwww, that sounds particulary nasty and i'm sorry you had to go through that.

I initally put the lower pelvis discomfort down to constipation (luvverly IBS!) Sounds daft but it felt similar; that leaden kind of feeling.

I'm a lot better now. Not quite there, but better.

Ouchy!

As much water and acidic liquids as you can manage. The more dilute your pee, the less it will hurt and the quicker the bugs will go.

As for the guinea pig lamp - our two would tell you to "get the damn light out of our eyes, we're trying to get some kip round here!"

Well, that'll teach them to sleep with their eyes open!

I'm going to drink lemon water. Was going to start drinking it anyway, 'cos apparently it's good for all sorts of things. Am still confused as to how acidic things 'alkalise' the body, though!

Ugh, it sounds as though you had a miserable time with it. I hope this is just a one-off. Can't be doing with this on top of the IBS!
