Week 53
Week Fifty-Three
The weather seems to have taken quite a turn for the better! This is a promising start to the week.
That was a rousing game on the weekend, wasn't it? I must say, I think Miss Phantom and Miss Tenoh have done a wonderful job so this year, and I look forward to more games this season. Congratulations to Gryffindor and Ravenclaw both! A special thank you to Mr. Sarutobi for an energetic commentary, Professor Sohma for his supervision, and the lovely Professor Hawkeye for her work as referee. I commend you all for a job very well done.
Current standings for the House Cup are as follows!
Gryffindor: 100 points
Hufflepuff: 90 points
Ravenclaw: 180 points
Slytherin: 65 points
It looks like Slytherin suffered a touch this last week, but do not be discouraged! It is often, I've found, during our trials that we unearth skills and abilities we had not known ourselves to possess. Do your best, students, and Professors, please remember that sometimes acts worthy of reward can be found in even the most seemingly mundane events of day to day life.
Now, my question of the day: should I chance those rather delicious looking crumpets this morning, or does anyone else have a lingering dubiousness after the last time they were served?

OOC Announcements
MONDAY it has warmed up considerably from last week. No more snow, though it is still cloudy.
TUESDAY would be a perfect picnic day... if you weren't stuck in class. It is bright and sunny.
WEDNESDAY might start with a nasty shock. A student prank gone wrong means that some journal entries and replies will be randomly yelled like Howlers, becoming far angrier than the author had ever intended! This problem will be solved by the next day, and in the meantime Headmaster Cid will ensure the Infirmary has plenty of headache potion. The weather is cloudy, but that is the probably the least of your character's worries.
THURSDAY is mostly sunny, and the journal problem will have been amended!
FRIDAY is a normal Scotland day, partly cloudy, with some showers. An EVENT will be announced March 14th that will be set Friday & Saturday!
By SATURDAY those showers have become more constant! The rain will go almost non-stop through the day. The EVENT is still ongoing.
SUNDAY things have settled down. The weather is mostly cloudly, with the possibility of more rain on the way!
We will also have an OOC class log and staff meeting going up shortly! Please feel free to use the threads in this post to discuss ideas for CR or what you'd like your characters to get up to this week.
