Name(s): Godot, Mia, Maya Location: Grounds, Week: 29 Time: (Do we need to make this day specific?) After classes Rating: G? Notes:I promise I'm putting up an open log soon @_@
Mia had decided it was time her sister and her boyfriend met. They hadn't had the chance before Diego's poisoning and Mia's death, so why not now? She had originally contemplated telling Diego who he was to meet, but soon dismissed that thought. Hopefully, the two wouldn't beat her there.
So she headed down, a smile on her face as she floated through the hallways and finally made her way across the grounds to where Diego sat.
"Lions do have longer legs than kittens," he replied after savouring another sip of coffee, looking over his shoulder and smiling slowly. "There isn't a competition to be won if the prize isn't there when you arrive."
He had been about to continue, ask Mia about her day so far, when the sound of Maya's arrival caught his attention. Looking away from Maya, his eyebrows inched up behind his mask, and he turned to Mia. More coffee was necessary to think this over.
"Are you ready to open up that vault?" Godot asked Mia over the edge of his mug. "Lurking goblins have a habit of making messes."
Mia's going to start looking solid now, or semi-solid anywayghostofalawyerMarch 27 2009, 18:07:45 UTC
Mia chuckled a little at the response Diego gave her and would have answered him if her sister hadn't arrived right then. She'd asked Rangiku for the solidifying spell earlier, so it was still in effect, but it was still weak. The spell components had yet to work perfectly on an incorporeal creature.
For whatever reason, the spell seemed to take a little better hold on Mia as her sister approached. The brunette lawyer sighed a little as her arms crossed over her chest. "Only as far as the vault owner wishes," came the answer. "You have the ultimate say. I just wanted her to know that you and I know each other."
A smile crossed her face then and her arms returned to her sides before one reached out to rest a hand on Maya's shoulder. It was a solid hand this time too, thanks to the spell's effect. She wouldn't have much time being solid this time, but it was better than nothing.
"He beat us both here, Maya," she answered her sister's query with a smile, glancing over at Diego.
