Ashe had been trying to gather herself up after her talks with Link and Sora the previous day. As such, she'd been taking her time getting ready for the day, stacking papers on a table and generally prepping her office for what was to come.

The professor hadn't been expecting anyone to call on her that morning, so the knock on her door surprised her a little. Pausing in the middle of gathering a few stray papers, she frowned at the door before walking over and pulling it open.

Her heart promptly stopped for a second when she saw who had knocked. For a moment, she couldn't speak and only stared. "Professor Godot..." What an unpleasant surprise. "Can I help you?"

He left her hanging for a response as he savoured a mouthful of coffee, before turning his attention back to her. "The question is, Professor," he drawled, "can I help you?"

Leaning against the doorway in such a way as to keep her from closing it and retreating back into her little den, Godot considered her. His expression was lacking its usual wild grin, but his lips were still curved into a taunting smile. "Having a good day, Cobarde?"

Ashe had absolutely no idea what he meant by that. Of all the people in the school, Godot was the one who confused and unnerved Ashe the most. She had absolutely no idea how to react to him or what to say when he spouted off one of his many metaphors. He was very flamboyant and she didn't know what the heck Mia Fey saw in him.

At any rate, Ashe wouldn't have closed the door in Godot's face. She wasn't that mean upset yet, though when his new nickname for her appeared, she twitched visibly.

"I have a name, Professor," she informed him yet again. Did anything ever get through this man's thick skull?! "And I have no idea what you mean by that."

The way she twitched tugged his smile into a grin. For all her keeping things locked up, looking neutral, Ashelia Dalmasca was as easy to read as a book. A long, boring book with no purpose, but Godot was damned if he was going to let her get away because of that. Still, he'd heard a couple of interesting things about the younger professor from Mia, and since he had some issues to pursue with her, he may as well take advantage of the trustworthy testimony he had been provided.

"And I hear it's on enough lips to spare me having to speak it as well," he countered. "But I was just wondering if you had your dress all picked out and pretty for this evening. Perhaps you'd like an objective opinion."
