Leoben found himself wandering the halls of Hogwarts. It was something he did when he found himself with a problem. Walking seemed to help, especially since this problem was a few days old. He had been playing chess against one of his brothers, the two of them exchanging moves through letters. He wasn't sure where to go with his next move and had contemplated many, but nothing definite seemed to present itself. Leoben was trying not to rely on the patterns, since his brothers saw that as cheating. They made him play with a handicap.

He glanced into an empty classroom on his way by. Funny he should come across Ed again, although this time there was an absence of musical instruments.

"You play chess?" He said, standing in the doorframe.

Ed glanced up at the sound of a familiar voice, the chess set only partially in place before her, each colour being halfway in place. With a grin, she nodded and chirped out her reply.

"Ed plays! Ed plays good! What about Divine-Teacher?",she asked, not bothering with Leoben's actual name, similar to how she interacted with nearly all of the other staff members in the school.

"I do," Leoben replied, "Although not as often as I would like." Something always got in his way, be it actual work or another reason. Not to mention that the games with his brothers always took a long time due to distance.

"Are you looking for an opponent?"

Nodding vigorously, Ed pointing to the opposite side of the table she was sitting upon, the idea that Leoben might prefer a chair not even crossing her mind. Chairs weren't as fun as they always looked, though some had their ways.

"Wanna play with Ed?" she asked, though the appearance of it being a choice was kind of cut short. "Divine-Teacher can sit there!"
