This was the first time Ellie really saw a big spell in action before. It tickled her pink to watch everyone dancing and spinning around the castle. Magic certainly was pretty neat. She was going to have to learn how to do that, one day. She made a note in her to do list and bounced around the hallways.

When she saw Kairi dancing down the hall, a smile broke over her face. Ellie recognized the girl from the common room they shared. She was nice enough and Ellie wouldn't mind getting to know her better. "Hi, Kairi!" she beamed as she twirled up to the other girl.

She wasn't dancing the exact same thing as the older girl, but it was close enough. At the very least, they were both dancing. She threw in a little bow before Kairi, still dancing in place.

Kairi ... couldn't stop spinning long enough to get a good look at this newcomer, but she caught a spin of dark hair out of the corner of her eye. "Oh, Hello!" She said, spinning past.

The dance smoothed out long enough to let her get a good look at the girl, and although she recognized her as a fellow Gryffindor, Kairi was ashamed to admit she could not remember the first year's name.

She giggled at the bow, pausing to flow into a smooth curtsy. At least she hoped it was smooth. She'd never curtsied before, and she was pretty sure you weren't supposed to attempt it in school robes.

She held out her hand, an invitation for the younger girl to join her.

Ellie let out a laugh as she took Kairi's hand. "What kinda dance are you dancing?" she asked as she kept bouncing to the song in her head.

Startled by the sound of a schoolbag hitting the ground, Massie snapped around in time to see the Gryffindor beginning her performance. She wrinkled her nose in disgust. If this was some strange ploy just to draw attention to herself, the brat needed to knock it off. "FYI, this isn't the David H. Koch Theater".

Really, what was the girl thinking.

Always so kind, Massie :| driftingtides November 28 2010, 10:29:54 UTC
"Eh-heh, sorry!" Couldn't she hear the music? It was loud enough in the hall that everyone should've been able to hear the irresistible beat. Although Kairi normally wasn't one to just drop everything and start dancing, literally, even if there was music nearby.

In fact, she still could not seem to stop. Kairi boogied her way over to the other girl, ignoring that disapproving look. "Who's David H. Koch?"

[Does Massie want to be pulled into a dance :3]

She is. She's a perfect angel XD ahmazing_alpha November 29 2010, 09:37:49 UTC
"You should be," Massie shot back. Certainly Kairi had apologized, yet she hadn't ceased making a spectacle of herself. Massie was ready to turn on her heel and saunter down the hall with her usual air of confidence however this didn't seem to be over yet. Like it should have been.

She huffed at the question,"Don't you know anything?". Truth be told Massie wasn't entirely sure. Clearly, David H. Koch was someone rich which was already a plus in Massie's book, and someone who donated to the theater. That was the extent of her knowledge. Besides, It's not like she was even that interested in ballet... which was the sort of dancing usually performing there. If it had nothing to do with fashion, herself, or celebrities what did it matter?

[No no no XDD SHE DOESN'T, but it could be funny]

Ataru was on his way to a class in the opposite direction. He had already gone through various dances, and it was still early in the day. He had no sense of embarrassment, but the constant dancing did interfere with his ability to go places.

After being able to walk normally for a few minutes, he suddenly found himself forced to do The Running Man. This dance made him stay in the same spot. At least he was able to watch Kairi dance.

"Well, this is awkward," he commented, while continuing to run in place.

Kairi was still dancing in place, although the addition of Ataru's Running Man made her giggle. She still wasn't quite sure what was going on, but no trolls were attacking, so she supposed worse things had happened to Hogwarts.

"You too?" She asked, smiling as she spun.

"Yeah," Ataru said with a sheepish grin and an almost nervous laugh. The dance was starting to get tiresome but he couldn't stop. If only this thing would let him choose the dance. He would have liked to join Kairi in her dance.

"I'm starting to get tired of this one," he commented. Not long after the comment, the forced Running Man finally stopped. He let out a sigh of relief.

"Good luck in getting to class," he said as he started to walk normally.
