Eyes in a tree… staring down at you…

No, it isn’t Stitch…

It is a large owl! Just watching you dance or… run around frantically looking for that creature that was with you a moment ago. It doesn’t really care what you are doing, it is just entertaining to watch.

"Stiiiiiiiitch!" Lilo called a final time before giving up and continued on her path to finding the tiny blue dog on her own, waiting for the screams of terror and anger to be heard through the halls to get a good idea on where the location of her puppy might be.

She didn't notice the owl one bit.

Not notice me?! How can a creature like that NOT notice me…!?!

Tybalt flies in through the open window then, landing heavily on a desk right in front of the small girl-creature.

Stares.

Now! You just try to ignore me now!

Easily. She didn't look up.

But she wasn't shocked when he landed right next to her and stare. Lilo stared back.

"You haven't happen to see a blue puppy walk by, have you?"

Down the hall was Rinoa, walking back from a tutoring session and on her way back toward her dorms. That is until she saw Lilo peek out into the hall when she was looking for her dog.

"Well... Hello. You're not lost are you?" She only asked because she used to get lost all the time in the school when she got here... and Lilo doesn't look any older than a First year. Maybe a Second. Rinoa continued walking down the hall and tilted her head as she looked at the young girls outfit. "You look so cute in that outfit."

Hearing the greeting, Lilo looked up to see a taller girl walk towards her. Didn't seem much younger than Nani was so maybe she was one of the oldest students in the school. "No, I'm just looking for my puppy." Lilo put her hand beside her, "He's about this big, got big ears and is blue."

Looking down at herself, Lilo smiled up, "It's my hula outfit. I wear it when I dance."

"I've heard about the hula... but never actually seen it in person. I guess your puppy wandered off while you were dancing, huh?" Rinoa put her hands against her knees and leaned over so that her head was closer to the same height as Lilo. "My familiar tends to wander off on her own when I'm busy too."

And she said he was a blue puppy?

Hmmm. Rinoa has to see this. "Mind if I help you find him? I could get some dog treats from my room to draw him out if he's hiding."

"Yeah, I think so too," Lilo spoke absently as she glanced around the hall, "He's probably just curious because he's never been outside Kaua'i before. But a nice owl told me he might be outside!" That was exciting. Lilo had never seen one of those birds before coming here, except in books. And then she found out there were hundreds of them in the castle. And they delivered the mail!

"Stitch doesn't like dog treats," She shook her head, "It's easier to lure him out with coconut cake. Do you have any of that in your room?"

The petite pink-haired professor was walking casually down the hallway. A stack of various scientific journals floated along behind her putting the hover charm to good use. Washu paused briefly when she heard the sound of something lyrical flooding into the hall. Gripping a nearby doorframe, she leaned to the side to peer inside. It appeared as if one of the students had decided to make use of one of the empty classrooms... to .. hula?

A smile crossed her lips, as she decided not to interrupt. She slid back away from the door and carried on her way.
