Tenel Ka sensed Lightning's approach before she saw her, but concentrated on finishing her current exercise and winding down before she turned to face the older woman who had clearly being working out herself.
She inclined her head in response to her question, thumbing her lightsaber off in order to shove her braids back off her face. "I would be glad for one, although you need not feel obligated," she said.
"Then I welcome the challenge." Hooking her lightsaber back to her belt for a moment, Tenel Ka gathered her braids in her one hand and further threaded them together using the method taught to her by Anakin Solo seemingly so long ago, ensuring that they would stay out of the way. It mattered little when she was practising on her own, but when facing a partner, Tenel Ka felt it best to be prepared.
"This is a fact," she observed, either not realising or not caring that she was stating the obvious. It wasn't a point of concern to the girl, and regardless, she often felt that conversations were better served when the obvious was pointed out. Retrieving her weapon again, she thumbed it back on with a familiar snap-hiss, holding it before her. "I am ready when you are, Professor."
