Hope is indeed, started awake, reaching for his wand on instinct but misses his bedside table and instead spends a good moment trying not to fall out of bed. Once he rights himself, and is no longer in danger of possibly falling onto the floor he lets his attention focus on whatever was causes the disturbance in the first place.

Watching with a mix of surprise, horror and confusion as the somewhat... familiar looking student went about toward Luke's bed and casts a spell that securing ties the other up. But, practice. . . ? Seriously? Hope just sits in his bed quietly and watches this all play out, petting his nearby frazzled eevee, apparently not happy having been woken up in such a manner either.

The cheagle is actually the one to wake up first when the door is kicked in. Luke might of slept through that one bit but the explosions had him up and shouting in outrage, fear and just complete and utter confusion. "WHAT THE HELL YOU GUYS!" He starts, ready to blame his roommates... but wait, he was the loud of their group.

"Mieu! Mieuuu Mieu Mieuu!" The cheagle squealed in a panic and Luke grabbed the damn thing, pressing it into his pillow. Really, the added noise wasn't making him any more coherent! He looks over in time to see ropes threading out toward him. "What the f-!!" He cries out in and flailed when the ropes snake around him.

The cheagle let out a panicked squeal when he got tied up in them as well. "Practice?! What the hell are you talking about you lunatic!?" Seriously, who was this guy? The voice sounded familiar. Yelps when the ropes are tugged and the guy tries to drag him out of his bed.

"LET GO OF ME YOU FREAK!"

"Keheheheh kehehehe keheheheeheheheheh," Hiruma could no longer supress his utter and complete amusement of the events unfolding before him. Had the brat already forgotten? It seemed so. No matter. All would become apparent in due time. "American Football..." Was the only explanation The demonic-looking student would offer. Practice always started bright and early in order to cram in all the practice one could get.

This was normal.... for Hiruma.

Keh. He hadn't meant to capture that whiney little cream-puff too... but Cerberus might like a snack. Hoisting the rope to his shoulder he flashes the other occupants an toothy-sinister-grin that seemed to say "you'll-be-next" before dragging Luke out of the room dangling along behind him.

"H-huh."

Okay, well this was definitely not what he had been expecting. Luke clearly did not know this guy, and so meant this wasn't a joke or prank of some kind. And here was Hope sitting here as one of his roommates are being kidnapped right in front of him. It didn't help matters that he couldn't here a thing the other student was saying over Luke's yells and yelps, nor did that creepy smile help Hope think that this guy wasn't well... actually doing something really bad.

"Luke... hey, wa-wait!" He calls out, snatching his covers off and grabs his wand, stumbling in the dark for a moment before aiming toward the ropes binding the other boy and calling out a spell to try and well, help the other out of this very strange situation.
