Garion was most certainly not lost this time. No, he was... exploring, right now, going down hallways he was pretty sure he had never been down before and coming from places he didn't remember. Exploring.

The Orb hummed it's amusement in his pocket, and he steadfastly ignored it. Most of the time it tended to be too smug for it's own good. Garion may have been at this school for almost a month now, but that was definitely not enough time to learn of all the different passageways and stairwells-- especially when they moved.

He was looking at a large portrait as he came to a T intersection in the hallways, trying to figure out if he had seen the opera singing lady before. She seemed vaguely familiar, but he wasn't sure if--

A flash of red and pink slammed into him from the side, and he stumbled to the left, instinctively catching the girl before she fell.

Dita gave a muffled shriek as she ran into him. She hadn't expected anyone to be right around the corner! She was a little flustered when he caught her. She wondered briefly if there was something wrong with her heart. It seemed to miss a beat while he steadied her. Her cheeks warmed a bit; maybe she was coming down with something.

"I'm so sorry! How clumsy of me!" she exclaimed, "I didn't think there would be anyone here when I turned the corner!"

He kept his hands on her arms for a good moment, wanting to make sure she was completely steady on her feet before he released her. Then, smoothly, he stepped back, considering giving her an awkward bow or-- no, he was at school, not at court. Students didn't bow in apology to each other. They-- what did they do?

"It was my fault," he protested, slightly worried. "I was-- ah-- just looking at the painting, up there." He pointed. Actually, come to think of it, the painting was not familiar at all.

Perhaps he had gotten turned around somewhere. Still, there were more pressing matters at hand. "Are you all right?"

She cursed herself for thinking that wearing heeled boots would be a good idea. They were comfortable, but not the best to go around exploring a castle. It took her a moment to get balanced. Once she had her bearings straight, she noticed he was still touching her and her blush deepened. She'd never been in contact with a boy for this long before.

She glanced at the painting. There didn't seem to be anything too special about it, but maybe it was something he was really interested in. There wasn't anything that caught her eye. Maybe it was an alien thing.

"Oh, yes! I'm perfectly alright! Are you okay?" she asked, glancing at him. He didn't seem to be hurt. Hopefully she hadn't run into him too badly! "Do you need to see the nurse?" she asked.
