WHO: Levy McGarden, Gazille Redfox LOCATION: A darkened hallway not far from the Ancient Runes classroom WEEK: 67 TIME: After classes but before dinner WHAT: Evil Threat Time of Meanness RATING: PG-13 for language.
Gazille wasn't a cheerful person to begin with, but lately he has been especially grumpy. He had left the infirmary a couple of days ago, but his left arm and leg were still bandaged and sore from an encounter with a nasty Tank. He was just thankful that there were no classes yet, so that his days in this school wouldn't be unbearable
( ... )
The sudden jolt of a person's foot hitting her ankle broke Levy from her reading immediately. She only had time to look up to see the towering fellow student fall to the floor. With a gasp, she ditched her book on the floor and jumped to her feet, inwardly berating herself for sitting where she might've been in the way. Even if the other person should also have been a bit more careful...
"I'm so sorry!" The girl started, a slight wince on her face. He'd fallen down pretty heavily, and she doubted that it was a pain-free landing. Switching off the light from her wand before pocketing it, Levy reached out a hand to him.
"Here, let me help you up..." She certainly recognized that dark shock of hair, and very few people had a similar stature. What was his name? He hadn't transferred that long ago. Gazelle? Gajeer? Gaji... ju?! Gajule!? No, no that wasn't it either!
GAZILLE! She was proud of herself for remembering it before anything became more awkward, and kept her hand out for him to grab onto.
Even though Levy sounded worried, Gazille couldn't see that at all. He ignored her apology, and when he looked up, he glared at her in the most threatning way he could. Finally noticing her hand, first he thought of slapping it away. But then he reconsidered and grabbed her wrist, not being very careful about the strength of his grip. After all, he wasn't grabbing it to help himself up, but, instead, to make sure she wasn't going anywhere.
When he finally got back on his feet, the dragonslayer quickly moved his hand to her neck, grabbing her clothes. Then he lifted her up, and cruelly pushed her against the wall.
"Are you messing with me, little girl? Did you think that was funny?", he asked her, his voice low so he wouldn't get any unwanted attention, but loud enough to sound threatning.
She wasn't surprised that he was upset- who would be after tripping? What Levy did find shocking was the anger Gazille was showing on his face. The grip on her wrist made her grit her teeth. Was it really necessary?
Before she could ask if he was alright, he'd hoisted her up and pinned her against the wall. Her eyes grew wide with fear and she quickly grabbed his arm with both of her hands. He was way out of her league as far as strength went, and she was too shocked to kick- her legs dangling helplessly beneath her.
"N-no! I don't, I mean- it was an accident!" Surely he understood that? Why would she want to trip someone on purpose? Levy didn't yell for help, in fact her voice sounded a bit squeaky to her ears as she fought off panic.
