WHO: Dean Winchester & Revan LOCATION: The Three Broomsticks WEEK: 67 TIME: Evening WHAT: Dean gets in over his head takes Revan for drinks RATING: PG-13 for... really bad innuendo
Revan finished off her third bottle, humming quietly as she motioned for another one herself, eyebrow arched lazily as Dean finished his story. She really hoped that he didn't often try to impress women he took out for drinks with tales of heads being slammed into saws... Her lips pursed as she looked him over.
He probably didn't get laid all too often, if that were the case.
"My, don't you lead an exciting life, kid."
The bartender dropped of their new bottles, giving them a look before moving on. She popped the cap off, took a long drink, and grinned. "So why stop chasing boogie men and come to Hogwarts?"
It was a good question. And one he wasn't about to give her the real answer to, he thought to himself, even as horrible memories of the vision he'd been shown wrestled their way across his thoughts.
Sam and Ultimecia. It was impossible now, right?
It had to be.
Bitch was dead.
His smile was slightly more bitter than it should have been as he spoke up smugly: "Oh, you know me. I just live to touch a child's life. And all that crap."
There was a snort as she shifted in her seat, moving so that her elbow rested on Dean's shoulder, her lips pursing in thought. "What I have learned about you is that you enjoy violent deaths, you're not too bright, and you definitely want to impress me. Which is kind of cute, I have to admit."
Revan brought the beer bottle to her lips, took a swig, and moved back out of his personal space. "Nothing at all about you says you like to be around kids."
She was calling bullshit. Not that she cared about his reasons for being here or if he refused to say anything real to her about it. If Revan cared--or was bored enough--she'd figure it out on her own.
"Drink more. It'll make those thoughts a little more weaker, and you won't look as if someone just pissed in your cornflakes."
Dean liked the fact that she was straight to the point, even if it meant she wasn't gonna eat up his bullshit excuse for being here. At least she didn't push with more questions, and he was happy to do exactly as ordered and slam down some more of his fresh beer.
His eyes flicked over towards her elbow, and he suppressed a smirk at the physical contact.
Oh yeah. She wanted him.
"Takes a lot of drinks to put me off my game," he admitted, which wasn't an exaggeration. Drinking excessively was one of his defense mechanism against all the shit he'd seen out in the muggle world: he had a tolerance that was impressive, to say the least.
"So what about you? What landed you here after everything," he gestured widely, "you've been through?"
