Tifa had visited Japan briefly, during her travels before coming back to Hogwarts, but she'd never had the opportunity to see an incense ceremony. She entered the room quietly -- the practiced, soundless footsteps of a warrior -- and sat down.

She was nervous, suddenly. It felt as if she was stepping into a situation where great respect was warranted, and it was important for her to be mindful of it. The man was very quiet, and very still. She greeted him, voice calm and soft.

"Um..." A pause. "Hello." No need to ask if she was in the right place, so she fell silent shortly thereafter, and waited.

Mulan sighed as she walked the halls to the Health and Medicine classroom, her footsteps light, unnoticeable to the untrained ear. Things had been so hectic and depressing lately, she couldn't help but be on a bit of an edge, alert to the slightest misgivings in the air.

When she had read the notice for the incense ceremony, she had jumped at the chance to perhaps relieve some stress within the calming, traditional ways of kodo. A soft smile began to form on her face as she quietly entered the room, taking note of the varying scents of the incense beginning to form.

"Hello, Professors.",she bowed respectfully.
