It was unfortunate then, for Naoto, that one of Ravenclaw's most nosy students should be watching. She had arrived at the Great Hall a few minutes after Naoto, still a little sleepy looking but obviously wanting to get a head start on the day. After all, the Hogwarts' newspaper wasn't going to make itself. Kazumi started fixing herself a plate of toast and eggs when she noticed Naoto sitting a few seats down with several papers spread out around her. My that was a lot of work for one person, especially this early in the morning.

Kazumi's interest was peaked and she grabbed her toast and hopped over a few seats to look over the stuff, careful not to get bread crumbs every where, "Hard at work already this morning? What is all this?"

Naoto was busy writing quietly, making sure the papers had her signature placed on them as she put a piece of toast in her mouth for a moment, at least she needed some sort of food to help her get through the day of classes and work. She heard some one come over so she quietly but sure made sure the files for the case were put away, placed firmly at the front where her hands were so that no one could read the classified information.

Turning her head she looked at the person coming towards her, as she smiled, "I'm always hard at work, I have to make sure I do well in all classes like I always do." Simple answer, for once not having to turn the answer into something more complicated than what it was in the first place.

Kazumi noticed the way Naoto quietly shifted the papers away from prying eyes. Either Naoto was afraid of being copied off of or those were some private documents. Of course, Kazumi could just be jumping to conclusions but she liked to think she had a nose for these things.

"Understandable. Do you not like people reading over your shoulder then," Kazumi asked.

"No, I'm not one to let people copy my work, I can help them if they are stuck but I don't want people copying whatever work I worked hard on, that's all." She smiled answering her question as to try and hope she doesn't ask anymore questions than what she already had done.
