WHO: Hatori Sohma, VERY OPEN LOCATION: The library! =3 WEEK: 58 TIME: Monday WHAT: The Healer is in search of a good book to read, and he needs some CR ;; RATING: I would say PG
Terra rarely spent a lot of time cooped up in the Library. She found it rather stifling, actually. Then again, she felt that way about any room with so few windows. If she thought about it long enough, she might realize that her feelings were connected to her past. But that too wasn't surprising.
Thus it was a rare sight for her to be browsing through the books. Today, she was looking for a specific Transfiguration tome. She hadn't found it yet, but she was certain that it hadn't been checked out yet.
Where are you?
So engrossed in her search, she didn't realize she wasn't watching her steps very closely. Unfortunately, because of her distraction, she walked right into Hatori. Gasping sharply, she dropped her bag and stared at him, frightened.

Hatori should have been paying attention. It was the first and immediate thought in his head as he felt the other body against his for a brief second. This was how accidents happened, how people saw things that they shouldn't have. The moment the thought had settled, he jumped away from her, able to still control his face in the cool and calm mask he usually wore.
An inch closer...
Another angle...
He stared down at the girl, quiet for a few moments. "No, it's fine." Because it would have been his fault had something happened, like a certain secret poofing up. "You should pick your bag up, however, before another person comes down this aisle."
Terra couldn't help but stare at Hatori. He looked familiar. Very familiar. Was he one of the Healers? She hadn't been to the Hospital Wing in some time, but she had spent a fair amount of time in a number of the infamous (and incredibly white) beds.
"Are you sure?" she could tell that something was off, "Oh! Thank you." she leaned down and picked up her bag, "I wasn't paying attention to where I was walking. Erm..." she blushed, "My name is Terra Branford."
Her name might ring a bell to him. Her "spells" had become somewhat of a medical mystery. Especially considering during one of them she took on a strange form - something that looked like it was between a Harpy and a Mermaid. Thus far, that transformation had been blamed on her magic going haywire. But, ever since then, her interest in Transfiguration had been piqued.
Under the girl's stare, Hatori raised an eyebrow at her. "Quite sure." He nodded at her 'thank you', watching as she picked her bag up. Well, good then. At least nobody else unsuspecting would fall over.
"Yes. Miss Branford, I recognize you now." Now that he wasn't in danger of transforming into a tiny, aquatic creature. "It's been quite awhile since you've been to the infirmary." And Hatori was quick to learn the names and faces of the frequent visitors to his workplace, Dresden and Lingshen among the top. He paused, before adding as a reminder, "I'm Healer Sohma."
It seemed that there were plenty of students that turned into something else, although the young girl in front of him was much more of a mystery than others he had unfortunately seen.
Serah was busy working. Mondays were always a little busier, what with students realizing the weekend was over and they should actually try studying. She found herself flitting about from one person to the next, asking if they were looking for something or picking up extra books that had been left out. By the time she reached Hatori she had a rather large stack of books in her hands and a tired expression on her face.
Glancing over at Serah, Hatori shook his head slightly. "No. I'm just browsing." Plus, he was sure that if he did ask for help, she'd find something he could read, and his time spent browsing and out of the infirmary would be over. The man took in her expression and the stack in her arms. "Would you like some help instead?"
Serah smiled gratefully at him. Honestly, she felt like her arms were going to fall off. One could only carry around massive stacks of books for so long before they felt this way.
"Not at all." Hatori lifted most of the books from her arms, hoping that had relieved most of her burden. He may have been thin, but he was muscled enough. He glanced the young woman over.
"I suppose that you are putting these back on the shelves?"

"I'm sorry!"
Oh this was embarrassing.
