Sam smiled as soon as Lizzie walked in the door, although his eyes grew worrying when Lizzie seemed a bit more solemn than usual. He stood and waved her in, waiting until she took a seat before sitting back down himself. "Is everything okay, Lizzie? I mean, are you all right?" He wasn't sure what was going on with this Auntie-- or even who that was in relation to Lizzie, actually-- but he hoped there was nothing overly devious going on.

"well yes, I am fine, just a little upset. Having Auntie leave the staff was upsetting, I mean. I know I shall see her again, thank the queen, but it's... well when she was here it was like I saw a whole new side of her, and I wanted to get to know that person a little more."

"It can always be painful when someone you love goes away," Sam murmured. There was... more than a little melancholy in his voice with those words. But what was he doing still feeling sad? Dean was back, and everything was fine now. Perfectly fine. He cleared his throat and moved on. "But they can always come back, Lizzie. Until they do, we can work on making ourselves better people, so when we meet them again they'll see how much we've grown."

Hypocrite, his mind accused him. I'm not, he argued right back with himself. I did get better. I got stronger.

Dammit, this wasn't about him. Focus, Sam. "How is everyone holding up with her leaving?"

"Well I haven't noticed in change in anyone else. Ciel doesn't much show emotions though and I don't know the staff well enough to ask if they are okay." he blinked at little at the self improvement bit. "Improved myself how?"
