/Hiding somewhere behind the beverage table

[The decorations had been much easier to do with her wand handy- it didn't require her climbing onto anything and hazarding possibly breaking a limb- or worse, one of Lady Elizabeth's decorations. But now that everything was done and set up, the music playing, and Lady Elizabeth playing hostess, there was little for Maylene to do but resign herself to watch the festivities.

And hopefully, nothing would go wrong enough that she couldn't handle fixing it.]

[Chao was just doing the finishing touches on setting down all the food. She wasn't exactly sure who was going to eat Hime's food, especially after seeing inklings of Hime's ingrediants. Just in case, she managed to make larger serving sizes. Meatbuns, sausages, various cheeses and sandwiches all laid in nice trays ready to be eaten. There was even cookies and cake in the far end of the serving table.

She had finished the final platter on the table when she caught the flash of red and blinked at what looked like a maid. A smile beamed across Chao's face.]

You should enjoy the festivities too, miss.

[Maylene blinked, and then offered a smmall smile, smoothing the front of the dress Elizabeth had made and bobbing her head nervously.]

O-oh, I plan to I was just... taking everything in.

[Not entirely a lie- she really was taking everything in... and making sure no one too suspicious-looking was about. After all, she had been told to watch out for Lady Elizabeth. She flashed the girl another look, noting that she'd been setting down food and blinked in surprise- though it was hardly visible behind her glasses.]

Did you make all that, Young Miss?

[Chao's smile grew a little bigger. the woman's nervousness was a little cute.

Well, you look nice! You should go out there and dance with someone. I'm sure there's a few staff members just waiting for someone to ask them.

[Ah, there earned a small sheepish smile]

W-Well, I'm not a terribly good cook, but it was the least I could do really. The school needed this party.

[Yellow is walking around, staring starry-eyed at all the ~pretty decorations~. Clearly a lot of time was put into all of this!

There's loud music playing, too. At first it hurts his ears (they've always been a little sensitive) but eventually he's able to just relax and enjoy it. Wow, are those people dancing? He's never tried that before. Maybe he'll get something to eat in a second, the food is set up very nicely.]

[Komachi's first party ever was the Halloween Masquerade.

It was disastrous.

;; She is hoping that this party will not make people go crazy around, but this is Hogwarts...

And while she's glancing around a little nervously, she bumps into Yellow]

[Yellow slept through that particular party, so he has no prior inclination to be afraid of what might happen here. Hopefully this is a good thing.

Unexpectedly, something bumps into him while he's distracted, and it is only a lot of hapless flailing that saves Yellow from completely losing his balance.]

[Yellow is very lucky for that. IT WAS TERRIFYING AND THERE WERE DRAGONS AND PEOPLE FIGHTING EACH OTHER AND SETSUNA-SENPAI WAS ACTING REALLY WEIRD!

D= So much flailing. Komachi grabs onto one of his arms.]

[Sulu is wall-flowering very nicely by the window. He's got a drink in one hand and a cookie in the other. And a kitten in his sweatshirt pocket, because he couldn't just leave Hidaya up in the dorm all by himself.]

[Just a short distance away Hogwart's resident half demon has much the same idea, minus the cat. She's mostly just watching everyone, and reminding herself that she shouldn't wish she could join in. Of course, once she notices Sulu it would be impolite not to say anything.]

Oh, hello there Sulu-san.

[Sulu beams at her and offers her half of his cookie. Want a bite?]

Hey, Setsuna. Enjoying yourself?

[Oh, well she couldn't possibly accept...but it would also be rude to refuse. After several seconds of indecision, she finally nods and takes the cookie]

Thank you Sulu-san. Ah, yes, it is very interesting.

[Kaoru sat in a chair away from the dance floor, looking around and looking kinder bored without his brother, though he was thinking that the room was very nicely done and if he saw the people who worked on it, he would be sure to comment on a job well done.]

[Walks into the room and looks pleasantly surprised by how well the place was put together. Seemed Chao wasn't kidding when she said they put a lot of work into it. Even Mieu seemed stricken as he floated down onto a head of red hair thinking it was his master's.]

[Feeling a sudden weight on his head he nearly fell off his chair by moving looking for the source]

What the heck was that?

[The cheagle let out a startled "MIEU!" and instinctively held tighter to the boy's head. Hearing the familiar sound Luke looked over to see his pet getting into trouble as usual.]

Tch! Stupid thing! Get off of him, you're freaking him out!

Nobu and Nana and the power of the music~

[Nobu is just standing in the designated place he was told to go, his babe in his hands as he plays a few notes. Adjusts the strings when it doesn't sound right. Plays another few notes.

Waits for the queen to be ready.]

[Nana walks up to the mic, ready to get the party started. She gives Nobu a wink as he starts to play the first chords of a cover of this song. If it seems like she's a different person in front of a microphone, you're probably right thinking that.]

[Nobu falls into the music, no longer just himself but one with his guitar and the movements of his fingers as he sets up the song for Nana.

Lizzie has NO idea how to dance to this music, but it's very nice! She bobs along with it a little bit, just happy to hear the live song.
