Come in!

Hello Sam. [she looks around a bit. The only other person she had talked to like this was her auntie. She should sit down. Of course she wasn't used to the man not standing when she entered. when he sat she was supposed to sit... but he was sitting already, so it was okay to sit, right? Right! Okay. Lizzie sits down after a moments pause and smiles at him]
Are you well?

I'm doing just fine, thank you very much. [A smile. And then a slightly uncomfortable look] I'm sorry, but I don't know everyone's face yet. [Hard to connect faces to handwriting, but he was trying]

Maybe just ask him how he was doing.
That sounded like a plan. Just because she was going to a counselor's office didn't mean that she was going to open herself up and spill every horrible thing that plagued her mind all the time. Nope. After all, Catty could just be going in there because Sam was pretty damn hot. Yeah, that would be her excuse if anybody asked why she was there.
Another five minutes of coming up with an excuse for being seen in there, and Catty finally stepped into the doorway, her fist knocking against the wall to announce herself.
"Um, Mr. Winch- Sam?"

But when a young brunette finally poked her head around the door, Sam blinked. Well, she didn't look like anything too dangerous. (Not that that meant she wasn't; only that she looked like a Hogwarts student and Sam's paranoia could only extend so far during daylight office hours.) Standing, he unobtrusively put his wand away while holding out his other to shake.
"Yep, that's me," he replied easily, noting the slight reluctantance in the girl's shoulders as she stood in the doorway. "Come on in," he added warmly.

And then she shoved her reluctance aside, easily playing the part of someone who was comfortable in her surroundings. No reason to act like she didn't want to be here if she had dragged herself here in the first place. "I just wanted to stop by and see how you were doing, since I kinda said that I would." She tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. "Have you had any customers yet?"

He still didn't understand why he HAD to come here, he didn't need to since he got here, so why was he being made now he he poked his head in slightly and the only thing he wanted to ask was simple, "Why is your office so unusually clean and tidy?"
Reply
He was assuming there was a reason for the boy to have poked his head in to ask about Sam's cleanliness habits.

He remembered why he was here in the first place, though not even moving from the spot from the door as he once again spoke, "I was asked to come here...though I don't know why, or even what a counselor does," he was being honest, since he never had been to one before as he was still a bit iffy about it all.

Sam just held out his hand without moving around his desk; an invitation to come deeper into the room. "Names help," He mentioned lightly, trying to smile and look non-threatening. Not that the kid looked threatened; more like the kid did not know how to relax. "Mine's Sam. What's yours?"

Her strange doll was in her arms rather than secured to her back, making her look more like a First Year than a Third.

Anise liked the counselor already, which was rare for her. And it helped that he was quite handsome, though more on the cute side than full-out hottie.
"I'm Anise, and you're Mr. Winches- I mean, Sam, right?"

A second later, it came to him. "Anise, yes! I remember you. It's nice to meet you." A pause, and he added, "That's a very interesting doll you've got there."

It took a lot of effort not to lick her lips.
"Mimi Force," she replied, smiling as she took a step into the office. "We spoke over the journals the other day?"

"Nice to meet you again, Mimi. Welcome to my little corner of the castle."
