[Sigh everybody knocks anyway. Maybe he should just close his door. Hrm. Sam is peeking around the desk to see who is there.]

Come in!

[lizzie walks in and smiles at him, giving a small curtsy.]

Hello Sam. [she looks around a bit. The only other person she had talked to like this was her auntie. She should sit down. Of course she wasn't used to the man not standing when she entered. when he sat she was supposed to sit... but he was sitting already, so it was okay to sit, right? Right! Okay. Lizzie sits down after a moments pause and smiles at him]

Are you well?

[Lol, sadly Sam's father was more interested in showing Sam how to pack gun rounds instead of teaching him etiquette, so although he was more of a gentleman than his brother he probably sorely lacked the skill set Lizzie would be more comfortable with. He has no clue about poor Lizzie's internal worry about the seating arrangements, and just waits comfortably.]

I'm doing just fine, thank you very much. [A smile. And then a slightly uncomfortable look] I'm sorry, but I don't know everyone's face yet. [Hard to connect faces to handwriting, but he was trying]

Catty had no idea why she was doing this. No idea at all. She'd never needed to see a counselor before. Okay, really, she didn't actually need to see one now. This was her choice. Which was probably why she'd spent the last fifteen minutes standing near the new counselor's door, leaning against the wall, walking away, forcing herself to walk back. It wasn't like she had to talk about anything, either, once she got in there.

Maybe just ask him how he was doing.

That sounded like a plan. Just because she was going to a counselor's office didn't mean that she was going to open herself up and spill every horrible thing that plagued her mind all the time. Nope. After all, Catty could just be going in there because Sam was pretty damn hot. Yeah, that would be her excuse if anybody asked why she was there.

Another five minutes of coming up with an excuse for being seen in there, and Catty finally stepped into the doorway, her fist knocking against the wall to announce herself.

"Um, Mr. Winch- Sam?"

Sam was always pretty aware of his surroundings; one had to be, as a Hunter, or else risk being snuck up on and killed the first day. So he had been hearing some soft shuffling outside his door for the past few minutes now, and was curious as to what was moving around outside. He had his wand out, held under his desk and out of sight, pointed at the door just in case it was anything threatening.

But when a young brunette finally poked her head around the door, Sam blinked. Well, she didn't look like anything too dangerous. (Not that that meant she wasn't; only that she looked like a Hogwarts student and Sam's paranoia could only extend so far during daylight office hours.) Standing, he unobtrusively put his wand away while holding out his other to shake.

"Yep, that's me," he replied easily, noting the slight reluctantance in the girl's shoulders as she stood in the doorway. "Come on in," he added warmly.

Blinking, Catty stepped further into the room, taking a quick glance around. Looked nice, at least. Comfortable. She took his hand, grinning brightly, the corners of her mouth curling up much like the animal she was named for. "I'm Catty. We talked over the journals before."

And then she shoved her reluctance aside, easily playing the part of someone who was comfortable in her surroundings. No reason to act like she didn't want to be here if she had dragged herself here in the first place. "I just wanted to stop by and see how you were doing, since I kinda said that I would." She tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. "Have you had any customers yet?"

He shook her hand gently, a wide grin forming when she told him her name. "Catty! Well, it's nice to finally meet you in person. Come to keep me company for a bit ( ... )

Kanda had finally gone to the counselor as people had suggested he'd do before hand, that was months ago, but after much persuasion and saying they'd taken his precious Mugen away if he didn't, he was standing in front of the door knocking lightly, even though it was open already.

He still didn't understand why he HAD to come here, he didn't need to since he got here, so why was he being made now he he poked his head in slightly and the only thing he wanted to ask was simple, "Why is your office so unusually clean and tidy?"

Sam glanced up from an open student file, blinking at the blue head of hair that had suddenly appeared in his doorway. That normally wasn't how first greetings went, but Sam was used to things out of the ordinary. So he shrugged, rather relaxed. "Probably because my brother isn't here to make a mess," He mused, standing to greet the new student.

He was assuming there was a reason for the boy to have poked his head in to ask about Sam's cleanliness habits.

He had tiled his head to the side at the reply, though in all honesty he wasn't all exactly caring of the answer, it was just something to say instead of a greeting, after all he isn't the most polite of people.

He remembered why he was here in the first place, though not even moving from the spot from the door as he once again spoke, "I was asked to come here...though I don't know why, or even what a counselor does," he was being honest, since he never had been to one before as he was still a bit iffy about it all.

Sam raised both eyebrows. Asked to come here? By who? Did he mean he was one of the kids from that journal post?

Sam just held out his hand without moving around his desk; an invitation to come deeper into the room. "Names help," He mentioned lightly, trying to smile and look non-threatening. Not that the kid looked threatened; more like the kid did not know how to relax. "Mine's Sam. What's yours?"

Anise peeked her head inside the door, quite puzzled that one of the faculty had actually left it wide open, instead of locking it tight. Sometimes a few pranksters would go around leaving 'gifts' in the classrooms and offices (something she certainly did not participate in most of the time), so this was a pleasant surprise.

Her strange doll was in her arms rather than secured to her back, making her look more like a First Year than a Third.

Sam leaned his head over to catch sight of the young girl spying in his doorway. Both eyebrows rose curiously, and he offered a tentative, "Hello?"

Anise blinked when she heard a voice aimed in her direction, and she blushed in embarrassment. "Oh, sorry, didn't mean to stare in like that," she said, giggling nervously as she stepped inside the room. The room was set up so that anyone that came in would feel immediately comfortable and at ease.

Anise liked the counselor already, which was rare for her. And it helped that he was quite handsome, though more on the cute side than full-out hottie.

"I'm Anise, and you're Mr. Winches- I mean, Sam, right?"

"That's me." He grinned when she got his name right. He was getting a little tired of penning the words, 'just call me Sam.' She must've been one of the students from his journal post.

A second later, it came to him. "Anise, yes! I remember you. It's nice to meet you." A pause, and he added, "That's a very interesting doll you've got there."

Even though the door was open, Mimi paused to knock before putting her hands behind her back, every inch the polite, sweet schoolgirl. After all, he was reading; it wasn't polite to interrupt and just plop down in a seat uninvited.

"Sam?"

Glancing up, Sam smiled and waved the young girl inside. "Hello there," He said warmly, flipping the journal shut and setting it to the side. "Who might you be?"

Oh, he was just as cute as he'd sounded over the journals - just cute as a button.

It took a lot of effort not to lick her lips.

"Mimi Force," she replied, smiling as she took a step into the office. "We spoke over the journals the other day?"

"Oh, that's right," He replied, standing up to shake her hand. Sam had a firm grip, but he was careful not to squeeze too hard on the student's hands. This young girl seemed very sweet, and Sam was trying to be gentle.

"Nice to meet you again, Mimi. Welcome to my little corner of the castle."
