WHO: Sulu and Cree LOCATION: The Great Hall, then who knows! WEEK: 56 TIME: Afternoonish. WHAT: Cree and Sulu and most likely large amounts of derp. RATING: PG for cute.
Cree, of course, took her time and didn't rush, but then again she was much closer to the Great Hall by being in Hufflepuff than Sulu had been. Well, if he'd been in Ravenclaw. She just assumed that he was. Still, by the time she did reach the Great Hall she had to laugh at the way he was just leaning up against the wall, as though he thought he was pretty cool.
Which Cree maybe thought that he could be. Especially for a silly little Ravenclaw.
"Hi~karu!" She made her way over to him, grinning wide. "How long were you waiting for?"
Sulu straightened up, immediately stopping his fidgeting and attempts at fixing his hair. It would just have to suffice the way it was.
"Not that long. A couple minutes." Long enough for the portraits to start speculating on what Sulu was doing and which pureblood family he may or may not have descended from. Which was just awkward, considering Sulu had descended from a fine family of Muggles, but you just didn't tell a senile old painting that.
"I'm really good. Actually, I'm pretty excited about this talent show." Cree shot him an amused glance as he quit messing with his hair. Stepping up closer to him, she licked the tips of her fingers and patted down a few stray strands. She wiped her hand down along the side of her thigh before continuing. "How are you feeling? You look..." Letting her gaze drag over him, she gave Sulu a warm smile. "You look a lot better than what you did before."
The nearby tittering of the portraits had her glancing in their direction before she rolled her eyes.
Sulu pulled a mock-disgusted face, but didn't even come close to hiding his smile. He stuck his tongue out at the portraits, before jamming his hands in his pockets and taking a step away from the wall.
"Sounds like it's going to be a blast." Hearing Cree sing would be, if nothing else, although god only knew what the rest of the student body would come up with. "I'm just excited to finally have an occasion for a giant sparkly poster."
Ah. He supposed he did. The lack of bruises and scratches probably helped, and he'd stopped looking so shell-shocked. He shrugged, flashing her a quick, reassuring smile. "I'm all patched up. Clean bill of health and everything. I wish the healers had let me keep the bruises though. They made me look dashing."
