[Jean arrives in the dungeon as designated by Miria. She un-Transfigures her own sword from her own Claymore-symbol necklace charm once she is in the room.
Glances at the pygmy puff called Victor before nodding at Miria.]
[Undine shuffles in with a huff. Her ears are still ringing and it's clear she doesn't want to be here. nevertheless, she takes out two volumes of poetry -- shut up, anyone giving her a funny look-- and transfigures them into the twin massive swords that earned her title. she heaves them up and rests each one on her shoulder before glaring at Miria]
[Helen walks in, turning her ring on her finger back into the large sword and just kind of walks past Clarice. She may or may not have shoved her a bit.]
[Miria nods as Clarice enters the room, her expression perhaps a little encouraging.]
Yes. You would benefit from training with us. It would not do to let your abilities go to waste.
[She sighs internally at Helen's entrance. She supposes it might be wise to take Clarice aside for private training as well, so she may better defend herself against her... angrier companions.
Her lips press together in a straight line as she considers Helen's question.]
[Miria nods back to Tabitha, appreciating her presence. She is glad to have both her and Flora to help her keep order, especially with Undine around.
She places Victor on a perch far out of the way, and spells the area around him with a protective shield. He is her responsibility, it would not do were he to come to harm.]
When the others arrive, I will be splitting you into pairs. Myself with Clarice, Flora with Undine, Jean with Helen, and Cynthia with Tabitha. You will be training in speed. Strength may get you far enough, but enough is not enough. You will note that nearly all the great warriors have been noted for their speed.
If you move quickly enough, they cannot hit you. If you move quickly enough, you can hit them before they know it. We are all strong. We must all be fast as well.
[OOC: Pairs, go ahead and start separate threads for your fighting, I'll throw Miria about to give pointers and crap. You may also reply to this thread and the threads above for pre-fighting conversation business.]
