Rangiku was on a high. Not only had Ashelia agreed to let her help with her costume - which looked gorgeous - but Ran had had the ingenius idea of an impromptu staff gathering. "Gathering", in this instance, was quite literal.
Tugging Ashe along, she'd lead the Gryffindor to Kenshin's office, where she's smoothly pushed open the door, grabbed his hand, and pulled him out of his office. Now they needed to get Cloud.

With a grin, Ran kicked open the door and dragged Ashe and Kenshin in behind her. "Cloud!"

It took Kenshin a few moments after they'd finally stopped for the world to quit spinning. "I'm very sorry we're interrupting you like this, that I am..." he said sheepishly, almost blushing from the embarrassment of being dragged out of his office like that.

Cloud was hardly what he would call a seamer, but he was doing what he could from the little sewing knowledge he'd derived from his mother. He didn't want to have to rely on magic to make a costume, after all. Enchantments only lasted so long and he was somewhat fond of his design. He might use it for future masquerades if he was unwilling to come up with another idea. So he was stitching away at fastening the steel blue cape around shoulders of the chestpiece just as two fellow professors burst through his door.

He barely missed stabbing his finger with the needle when he jolted in surprise and turned himself to see who his visitors were. "Oh, it's no problem. What do you guys need?" he asked.

"We need a reason to visit?" Ran asked, dragging Kenshin further into the room. "I just wanted to make sure you were coming to the Masquerade and not locking yourself up in the Astronomy Tower to brood and make serious face." Emphasising her point, she released Kenshins hand and crossed her arms, brows furrowing a little.

With a blink, she finally noticed what Cloud was doing. "Oh! You sew?" Walking over to where he was working, she leaned to get a closer look.
