[Chao had no idea about the new developments of the school. In many ways, all the craziness had become mostly a background noise to the school. To make it even better, none of it seemed very dangerous that it would inquire her involvement. So, here Chao was, making her way to her usual table with books of transfiguration in her arms. Maybe if she focused on how to turn a turtle into a chair, she wouldn't have the urge to sing her secrets away.
She hummed a light tune, something that will probably be a side-effect for everyone after this, and paid no attention to Deneve as she passed the claymore.]
[Hearing her name being called earned Deneve a small jump from Chao, her head turning around in wonder at Deneve.]
Yes?
[Watching Deneve pull a chair out for her made Chao even more confused. Sure, they've passed eachother before and was coming to know a few of Deneve's kin, but they never really talked before. Still, it would be impolite to refuse such an offer and Chao sat herself down in the offered seat.]
Thank you, Deneve. [She smiled at her apparently new friend before setting up her space of the table to study.]
You're welcome. I thought it would be beneficial to study together since we are both studious. [Said completely matter-of-factly. Deneve is unsure why she did just ask a mere acquaintance she barely knows to join her in studying. This is very odd.]
Are you studying anything in particular? [Still leafing through her own book.\

Chao? [She pulls out the chair next to hers, offering Chao a seat expectantly, but says nothing more, continuing to read her book.]
