Certainly not for the first time, Haruhi felt very grateful that the school's bizarre spells rarely affected her. This one wasn't too terrible, as far as these things went, but it was still rather irritating. All she wanted to do was get some work done, but the constant musical numbers were distracting.
Hoping the library would still be quiet in the midst of all the chaos, she headed in that direction...
"Oh, no."
...Only to find her path blocked by a perfectly choreographed line dance. Sighing, she slumped against the wall and watched, waiting. Sooner or later, the number would be over, and everyone would be on their way.
It was at about this time that Kyo turned the corner and found himself stopped by the same chorus line. He shoved his hands in his pockets to avoid the sudden urge to start dancing along. After his initial bout of singing over the journals he had mostly kept it in check.
It was at about this time that he noticed the smaller guy standing nearby, patiently waiting for it to end. He found it strange that looking at the guy caused his palms to feel clammy and his heart to flip. What was that about? He could even feel his face getting red. Scowling he walked over to the guy, "Hey what's the hold up?"
