Deneve had wondered where Helen had wandered off to after Lunch, and was further puzzled when she hadn't turned up to class. Being concerned for her friend, she decided to come and find her, starting with their dorm.
And here she was. "Helen," Deneve said firmly. She was hardly surprised to find Helen splayed out on her bed, skipping class, but... Something seemed off. She moved closer until she could see Helen's eyes, which were unfocused. Odd. "Helen, are you alright?"
She could hear the footsteps quite easily and, blinking her bleary eyes, Helen gave a big grin at who just arrived. “Deneve!” She launched herself at the other girl, bonelessly draping herself onto the other girl’s shoulders, “Deneve~ I can see things” The girl drawled, giggling a bit, “It’s like blobs of sound!” Good ole reliable Deneve when Helen needed her. The bed was nice but so were people and the pixie haired blonde was Helen’s favourite person ever other than Miria. “Can you see them too?” Helen asked, her body having no grip and slowly started sliding off of the other blonde’s shoulder.
She was a little surprised when Helen threw her -rather heavy- self at her, but Deneve let her with the air of someone who was more than used to it. Sometimes she didn't know why, but she was pleased to see her closest friend too even when the girl was talking about 'blobs of sound'.
Deneve firmly gripped Helen's arms around her shoulders to stop her from sliding to the ground. "No, I can't, and come on - you need to sit down," She started coaxing Helen towards the bed again. Something had made Helen this way - a spell perhaps? Deneve knew the Hospital Wing was out of the question with their bodies if it wasn't a spell. If worst came to worst, they might just have to seek out some more of their 'cousins' for help. "Helen, when did you start seeing things?"
She wasn’t that heavy and Deneve could pick up a giant sword in each hand with complete ease back during the Claymore project so the added weight of Helen using the other girl as a support shouldn’t be an issue at all.
Really, the fact that she was somewhat drugged aside, Helen was able to manage everything fine but it felt like her sense were scrambled up and not doing what they were supposed too. It fucked up her co-ordination big time and left her head with a buzzing that wasn’t all that unpleasant and left her light headed and giddy. Sitting back on the bed, Helen collapsed onto her side, the squeak of the mattress rippling before her eyes.
