Luxord waited with folded hands, wishing he had never taken the position of Head of House. Sometimes he felt like it just wasn't worth the extra pay. Every week presented a new problem he had to deal with, on top of the normal professor things he had to do.

Sighing, he straightened up when he heard the door open. Edward looked like he wanted to be anywhere else but here, and Luxord didn't blame him. "Hello Mr. Elric, have a seat," he gestured to the chair across from him. Once Edward was seated Luxord wasted no time getting to the point, "Before we start anywhere, I'd like you to give me your view of events. I think I have them pieced together myself...but I'd like to hear it from yourself."

Edward was slouched in the chair, completely looking defeated. He certainly didn't want to be there and the office was small and unnerving. He sucked in a breath.

"I didn't do anything."

Edward visibly winced. That was not a good start.

"Look, I just...she came up to me and tricked me into being calm or whatever and then she tells me that my brother is going through something and I should talk to him. For reasons unrelated...or maybe they are but not in her case, I can't do that. So I told her so. She kept insisting, I kept saying no. She called me a coward and I said so what? I'm not going to push Al away by doing exactly what he hates me to do. He's already pissed at me enough as it is. Then she gets mad, something about losing someone and she runs away crying. I didn't say anything to her that would upset her, except I didn't take her advice. I'm not required to. It's our family and it's a private matter, one by the way, Al didn't want me to know about so really breaking my brother's trust isn't good either, although I'm ( ... )

Luxord let Edward rant. He figured it might do him some good to get it out of his system. It was hard not to show some form of reaction to Edward's rambling. He could tell Edward was hurt, upset, and most of all angry at how the events had unfolded. Of course, Edward being upset made it a little difficult to piece everything together. Luxord couldn't be certain what sort of talk had occured between the two, but he did have the journal entries to go by from both Edward and Lizzie ( ... )

Not in trouble? Edward wasn't sure what to make of that news because it certainly seemed like he was, and if he wasn't in trouble, what was he doing there? He looked incredibly confused for a moment.

Oh. That discussion. Edward hated that discussion with a passion. Despite his relaxed look, his fingers gripped the arms of the chair he was in. This was the worst conversation he ever had to have and it wasn't the first time. There was a bit of a creaking noise from the right arm rest, the only sign that he was currently making an effort to restrain himself.

"That's...fine." Edward managed, it sounded tight and controlled and restrained but that barrier was paper thin.
