Already, there was a bit of agreement between this new Transfiguration professor and the Social Studies professor, who also did not find this humorous in the least bit. At least, though, he was not stuck in the library sorting books as he had been the last time he was asked to do a task around this school.

And at least this time he was not the only professor having to do such a menial task. This would also give him the opportunity to observe her, to garner first hand notes on the woman to add to his notebook.

Stepping up near her at the entrance, Rorschach nodded his head slightly in greeting. "Professor."

"Morning Professor Draupnir, Professor Kovacs." He walked up to the two of them, mustering a small smile. He was not at all thrilled about having been chose to exterminate the Doxies, but appropriately the two others seemed to mirror his own enthusiasm. He lifted his gaze to the door, wondering just how someone could confuse cute &harmless Fairies with ugly &wicked Doxies. Well, whatever the reason the damage was already done. "I think we should form a plan of attack, .." He murmured, looking away as idly, he played with his two antenna. "If there is only one tank of Doxycide, the we'll have to work efficiently to end this as quickly, and painlessly, as possible."

McCoy was the usual ray of sunshine as he approached the gathering in the front of the Great Hall, his arms crossed over his chest and a perpetual frown on his face. He eyed the others that had been assigned to the task, and scowled deeply when his stare landed on Professor Kovacs. The man was unsettling, to say the least, but rather than making him feel on edge, McCoy instead was annoyed by him.

"Doxies," he said flatly, knowing that the one word spoke enough. They had their work cut out for them; doxies were irritating pests, prone to biting. And biting led to infections. And infections led to headaches. McCoy tilted his head to the side, taking in his roommate's words.

"No kidding," he said with an exasperated agreement, staring with utter loathing at the sole tank, "Leave it to Cid to have just one tank and an entire hall filled with the pests."

He turned, giving a slight nod of greeting to Professor Draupnir, "I doubt this is what you imagined signing up for."

To Kovacs, Lulu gave a minute nod in response. "Good morning." The other professor wasn't a talkative nor pleasant individual, from what she'd seen, which was just as well for Lulu. The less talk that occurred, the more work that would get done.

She didn't smile at Apollo, but her eyes softened, just a bit. "Hello, Mr. Justice. You're correct; it would be wise to decide on some sort of plan." To Bones, she said,

"Whether or not I was prepared for it, adaption is a very useful skill, Mr. McCoy. Complaining about a job is counterproductive. It would be better to use your intelligence to figure out a way to resolve the problem quickly and efficiently. Don't you agree?"

Lulu thought for a bit, and then shook her head. "I'm unaware if Doxycide has averse effects on humans, but as Doxies are household pests, I would assume that it's safe for humans to be around. Still..." She frowned.

"It's integral to practice caution. I would suggest that we figure out some sort of way to get Mr. Justice out of the line of fire, to give us a clear path to the Doxies." She pinched the bridge of her nose. Lulu had grown up in a house where she'd never even seen a tank of Doxycide, let alone been forced to exterminate them.

It would be in poor taste to say as much though, and she certainly didn't want to look inadequate in front of students.

Although Rorschach didn't say it, he was minutely impressed at Apollo stepping forward and volunteering for the position of luring the doxies out. Had none volunteered, the masked professor would have done it himself. Doxy bites? Didn't bother him. He could handle it.

As for the harmful effects of Doxycide on humans? That he had to shrug at. His spare time wasn't used in researching random household pesticides and their effects.

"Hmn." What could be done? "Possible to have one of us waiting to pull Justice out of the way."

If only he had put some thought into the possibly detrimental effects of doxycide inhalation, then perhaps he would not have enlisted himself so hastily. Somebody had to do it though, and better it be somebody small and agile .. or something.

His shoulders sank, and quietly he listened to the others. "If I could get them into a group, would there be a way to stun them long enough for me to make an escape, ..?"

He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, wondering if they were even permitted to use magic on the foul little beasts.

"So no one here actually knows if the Doxycide is poisonous to humans?" McCoy said dryly, taking in how no one had really given his question a straight answer. He sighed, looking skywards for a minute before turning to face his roommate. "That may be the best option. Doxy bites are annoying, but they're managable. I'd suggest someone pulling him out and stunning the little basta-" he cleared his throat, severing the language.

"I can cast the stunning spell."
