This takes place after he'd offered to tutor Catty.puzzleshounenDecember 14 2009, 04:57:58 UTC
It was true that he was good at potions, and it was a class that he was really strong in...but maybe he jumped the gun a little when he said he'd tutor her. He was way behind in his studies, for one, and two, he'd been spending so much time playing games rather than studying while he was out.
Even though he was fifteen now, he still had that problem.
But he did promise Catty, and men never back down on their promises! (And hey, maybe he could show her a game or two of his while they were studying? That wasn't bad, right? Besides, when you think about it, Potions IS a sort of game, so...)
And that was why he was dashing to the library, fast as he could go.
...That is, until his small constitution took its toll, causing him to gasp, loudly, for breath.
Hearing, foot steps approach around the corner, Bakura stayed still but his eyes shifted over as who ever it was turned the corner. Once they were in his sight, his eyes widened at what was resting around the child’s neck.
The Pharaoh’s Millennium item.
Staying where he was, Bakura observed, noting some resembling features this boy had with the Egyptian king. There wasn’t many. The obnoxious hair style was similar but this was definitely not the pharaoh Bakura had grown to know and despise. Lips twisting into a cruel grin, Bakura stood up. He was presented with his prize in the possession of a child. It couldn’t get any simpler.
Yuugi's breath was finally starting to return. Finally. Letting out a few more breaths to ease his breathing, he glanced up...
Who was this? He'd never seen him before. Or if he had, he didn't remember him...maybe he was a new transfer student, who came in while he was out? In any case, he didn't look very familiar...
"U-Um...I'm sorry. I don't really know you...Maybe you're thinking about someone else?"
Unknown to really both of them right now, Bakura had been at the school for the last 6 years. He was naturally more of a loner that really only his dorm mates and teachers were aware of his existence most days. You know, except when someone mentions something was stolen, then all attention gets focused on him.
“I don’t care about that,” He grinned wickedly, approaching the small boy. It really didn’t matter to him if it was the Pharaoh or someone else carrying the Millennium items as long as he was able to reclaim them for himself. He extended his hand out towards Yuugi, “So, if you don’t mind, hand over that pendant around your neck.”

“Seems you have something that belongs to me.”
