It was a few minutes before Maya came out, rubbing her head.
"Sorry about that," she said with a smile, taking her hand away from her head and returning to her bouncy demeanor. "I got hit in the head. Freakin' Kupo Nuts." Maya scowled then and looked back in the direction of the Great Hall. Apparently, she'd been hit in one of the throwing-fights. That's fun stuff.
Tifa smiled at Maya and stood from the bench. "Hope it didn't hit you too hard. Those things are heavy for nuts!" It was true. They were pretty heavy and large, which was probably why the moogles liked them. They were large and nutritious for the white furballs.
"Well at least we don't have to really worry about them hopefully." She tilted her head and sighed a little. "I was kind of hoping for a walk around the grounds. Do you want to come or go somewhere else?"
"I'll be fine!" She smiled happily. She still rubbed her head again, though, checking for a knot. She realized she might have a headache in the morning, or even a few hours, but she didn't let it faze her now.
Maya smiled again and bounced slightly. "That sounds fun!" She took a moment and thought back a bit. "I don't actually think I've been outside all day, so yeah!"
Tifa smiled in return. At least Maya was a very happy person and wasn't going to let something like that upset her, even if it did hurt a bit.
"All right then." Tifa moved past Maya and headed for the doors to the outside. They didn't have much time before curfew and she wanted to get out there to walk around before they would need to be back inside.
"How are classes going for you?" They hadn't seen a lot of each other - Tifa blamed this on her duties and the fact that she was usually extremely focused on her work.
