He had nothing to do, as per usual, and so his time was spent sleeping. Until, of course, someone burst into his office, completely disregarding the Do Not Disturb sign, to wake him up. He snapped to attention, so startled that he fell backward and out of his chair. Slowly, he rose, clawing at the desk. "Damnit Klavier, what do you want. I was busy working." He snapped, ruffling his hair as he stood up. Wait. What did he just say. "New song, oh, lemme see. C'mon, give it here." He walked out from around the desk, reaching for the papers.
"I wasn't aware that naps were part of the job." Klavier joked as he handed over the papers. He let Daryan go through a few bars, humming a simplified version of the tune, before striking with the best news that came with those sheets of paper.
"I don' have anything else to do. No appointments for this afternoon so, why the hell not." With a smirk, Daryan took the papers from Klavier. He looked them over, briefly, only slightly confused. It was different. He lifted his head, staring quizzically at Klavier. "What is this shit." He spat, handing the papers back to him just in time to hear him say, It's a piano piece.
. . .
WHAT. Snatching something from behind, Daryan swung it at Klavier. "Damnit Klavier. Why are you showin' it to me then. You know damn well I do not play piano." He sighed, exasperated. "I thought you were coming in here with something worth looking at, like, I don't know, a guitar solo!"
He's going to be murdered when his next suggestion rolls around...rocker_complexNovember 23 2009, 21:11:48 UTC
Klavier, having been well trained in the art of dodging projectiles (one would assume that came from being an idiot around Daryan so often), ducked to one side to avoid being knocked sill with what ever was being aimed at his him.
"I wrote it for a student. She's very good--I heard her play when I went by the practice rooms." He grinned, still rather proud. "But that is not the real reason I came by. I have an idea, Hogwarts is missing something--something I need your help starting up again."
