OH HAI! Bet you never thought you'd see him here :3slitherouterNovember 4 2009, 08:02:52 UTC
It had come to Howl's attention after some time that several of his things had been left in his old classroom. While they were hardly of sentimental value; a few of his own potion blends used in class, a human skull and a few books he kept on his desk. Though of no importance, he still wished to have them back. Particularly the books, as they were the libraries to begin with. He could imagine the fit the librarian would have if she knew he had left them somewhere.
Not wishing to cross the path of the cold woman who had taken his place, Howl opted to try and retrieve his things during diner on this particular night, as the wish for his things grew. It was only an assumption that Irene would be dining with the rest of the school, so as he opened the door one could imagine his shock to see the one woman he put a good deal of effort to avoid working her magic.
LMFAO I AM SO HAPPY YOU THREW HIM IN :333whoneedsarmsNovember 4 2009, 19:17:56 UTC
As it was, Irene had little need to eat. In fact it was wearisome, eating so often as a human had need to, but the facade was a necessary one. Avoiding Teresa, rather than avoiding food, had been the primary objective this evening. Enough moments to gather her thoughts before Teresa flung them to the wind.
Sharp hearing caught the footsteps, recognised the way they sounded on stone as weight fell from left to right and back again. "Professor Pendragon," she greeted evenly, not looking up from her potion as she added another ingredient. "Are you in need of assistance?" There was little doubt she'd return his belongings; after all, she held little value in material belongings, nor did she have any use for them.
THEY HAVE TO BECOME BFF SOMEHOW :DslitherouterNovember 4 2009, 19:31:48 UTC
Saying the woman made him uneasy was an understatement. The way she knew it was him without even looking up had only made the feeling of shock and nervousness worse. Part of him wanted to bolt back to his office and forget about his things entirely. Only he knew doing so now would only make him look silly and he had a reputation to keep.
He swallowed hard, using the quick few seconds to regain his composure. "Forgive me, I didn't expect you to be here at this hour," he spoke formally. "It seems I have left a few of my things when I left and I had come to retrieve them."
AFTER HOURS OF SUFFERING MOST LIKELY XDwhoneedsarmsNovember 7 2009, 01:18:34 UTC
She stirred the potion slowly, pretending her hearing did not catch the sounds of his nervousness. Such a reaction was easy enough to dismiss, given the reactions most humans had to those of her kind. Suspicion and fear it seemed, although certainly some of those 'cousins' seemed to have gained some camaraderie as well. Part of her wondered how this man, coward of a man, would cope with Teresa.
She rather thought he wouldn't.
"I have no objection to you gathering your belongings," Irene said evenly, tone matching syllable for syllable. "Though your decision to come when there is no one else here is curious." Clockwise once; counter clockwise twice, still stirring. "If I did not know better I would find it suspicious."
