Isane looked up from her seat by the fireplace Renji's words, rolling up her finished Potions essay he'd been checking over, wanting to make a good impression with Professor Jones, who was surely an expert on medicinal potions. Her face brightened as she realised he was standing, injury free. She smiled, standing up as she did so, neatly tucking the essay into her robes. Nodding, she began making her way out of the common room with Renji.

"It's good to see you're well again." she said quietly. Isane didn't particularly want to bring the explosion up, but she was happy to see her housemate up and about again.

Renji rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, "Yeah, the nurses did a good job so there's nothing to worry about." He dropped his hand to his side, suddenly looking pumped, "So I'm ready to go on patrol and get back on the job."

If it was one thing Renji took pride in it was his job as a Prefect. Plus, he thought he made a great team with Isane, since despite her height, she was really motherly and seemed to calm the first years who always seemed terrified of Renji sometimes.
