Konohamaru had gotten to the classroom long before Akira, and the entire time he had been staring at his notes with a sort of angered confusion. He hated potions, and the homework that Professor Jones had assigned was driving him crazy. His mouth was stuck in a permanent scowl as he flipped another page over.
When he saw what was in the next section his scowl lightened somewhat into a smirk. The notes for the new Transfiguration spell he had been working on looked back at him. While Konohamaru wasn't the best at the more academically based magics, such as Arithmancy, Herbology, or Potions, he totally kicked ass at practical ones. And this new spell would blow all those other crappy spells right out of the water!
He looked up, sort of startled despite knowing Akira was going to meet him there, "Oh, hey Akira!" He said brightly, a huge smile on his face.
"Hi there." Akira said, stepping into the room and glancing discreetly at Konohamaru, checking out his physical state of being. "How are you feeling?"
He stepped inside the classroom and took a seat, leaning on the desk beside Konohamaru's. He glanced at the homework curiously and smiled a bit. Ah, memories of years gone by.
Konohamaru leaned back in his chair, folding his arms behind his head, "Eh, I'm alright. Super mega behind in the really stupid schoolwork, but my leg's okay and stuff. I'm going to start working on my aerodynamic kicks again," he added, just to further reassure the older student. No leg could keep Konohamaru from doing his aerodynamic kicks!
"Uh, how about you? How's..." his eyes narrowed as he scratched his head, "...stuff?"
"Behind? You don't study every day? You really should you know, it only gets worse as you get older." Akira advised.
"I'm alright." He smiled. "I wasn't hurt too terribly and although my wand broke, my replacement has already arrived and I think I'm even more in sync with this one." Akira tilted his head a bit.
