guess who? XDbountyandbeastSeptember 29 2009, 02:53:43 UTC
"YOU. JERK."
A firm but forgiving slap across the top of Laguna's head later, June Hunter stared down at the one she typically referred to as "Sunshine." She usually looked forward to seeing him (especially for his cheer attitude which earned him the prestigious nickname), but there were three things he did at the time that nearly sent the Game Keeper into an angry fit.
"Taking a nap on the job? That's something I would do, idiot!" she said while sending another smack across the top of his head, further ruining his hair in addition to the bed head accumulated from napping on the bird. "And chocobos are NOT pillows! They make pillows made from their down in some places, but that doesn't mean you can use 'em like a friggin couch."
Finally, she gave a smirk and rubbed his head, giving his already bruised head a "noogie". She knelt down next to him and looked into his eyes, saying, "Most importantly, you get better and don't go see your favorite staff member in this whole place? You've got some nerve."
OMG FINALLY *GLOMP*prof_leg_crampSeptember 29 2009, 02:58:08 UTC
"OW! HEY WHAT THE-?!"
Laguna jumped and grabbed his head, whimpering pathetically. So not cool, June! He rubbed it softly but then flailed again when she whacked it once more. "H-Hey! C'mon, I'm losing brain cells here!" He pouted. "B-Besides, Goldie doesn't mind! And-ack! STOP MESSING UP THE HAIIIIIR!"
And... he flailed some more. When she finally let him go, he gave her a mock-tearful gaze, rubbing his head and looking like he'd be accused of stealing cookies (and caught red-handed). "I-I would have come but I didn't know when..." He murmured, scratching his head sheepishly. "I thought you were coming by while I was there and all... I saw the reply so I just assumed and... um... yeah."
nice to see you too! *glomps*bountyandbeastSeptember 29 2009, 03:27:45 UTC
June almost enjoyed replying to his struggles. Knowing that she took it easy on him, his flails showed that she caught him off-guard enough that her efforts might actually be hurting him. Still, she didn't leave out any opportunity to provide witty commentary to her beat-downs. "Losing brain cells? You must not have any to spare after thinking Chocobos make good mattresses! AND YOUR HAIR LOOKED RIDICULOUS BEFORE!"
When she had stopped, she figured she might as well begin acting like an adult since he did. "Well, we're here now. I guess that's what matters, huh?"
Laguna pouted at her hair comment but didn't reply. "Yeah, it does. Still, I missed you though."
He missed a lot of people, but things were so hectic that he didn't have the heart to bother anyone. Not when there were more important things, after all. Laguna smiled up at June and patted the 'seat' next to him. "C'mon, Goldie really doesn't mind. Just stop yelling so she can go back to sleep," He said.
